Great music - interesting people - happy children - wonderful place - delicious food. Hilly Fletcher, West Yorks

Really enjoyed Kate and Nellie's workshops. The location was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and good natured. The food was great. Very impressive with the organisation and attention to detail: flowers, decorations, marked out circles, wood supply, info signs etc. The cabaret was brilliant. Carol Warren, York

My experience of the week-end was magical. I loved the singing, drumming. Dancing, the Food, the sense of community. And the feeling of Peace and love. I felt very relaxed when I came home the sense of peace remains with me. Sally James, Ramsbottom, Lancashire

I felt tuly held on all levels. Physically, because the site was perfect, with the gentle slope behind us and the river in front of us and the amazingly tasty & nutritious food that was prepared for so many of us. All the structures that Chris & Selma had put in place contributed to feeling safe and comfortable whilst having an outdoor experience.. I was amazed with how well everything had been organized. The choice of workshop & facillitators and all other activities for the young and young at heart....the timing of meals and workshops was good.

Everything worked.. there was a short moment of panick when the toilets where full, but then alternative arrangements were made.

Chris and Selma are guardians of true community building. I felt there was a magic at the site, a gentle embracing of all of us with the invisible arms of Chris' and Selmas's love. Brigitte Michels, Newcastle

The Sunday evening and Monday were a small but magical insight to the whole event. Peaceful, friendly, welcoming and caring – a truly communal spaceJanette Pratt, Saltburn MANY MANY THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL CAMP. IT WAS GREAT TO SEE SO MANY OLD FRIENDS, AND TO MAKE SO MANY NEW ONES.THANKYOU SELMA AND CHRIS FOR CREATING A LOVELY PIECE OF MAGIC IN MY SOUL. THE CABARET NIGHT WAS ABSOLUTE MAGIC, AND WHAT A PLEASURE TO SEE THE CHILDREN TREATING THE WORLD WITH FUN, RESPECT AND REVERENCE. Graham Waudby, Bridlington

Wanted to say a big thankyou for a fantastic weekend and we are so glad you were able to find the space for our family at such short notice. The meals particularly, were absolutely delicious and reinforced our belief that vegetarian food can be truly wonderful. (My children have never known anything else!). I particularly enjoyed the drumming and singing. The children enjoyed being outside, camping, making new friends, making stools and Kristian loved making a sword and demonstrating 'sword skills' with the others. He has never performed before on the clarinet, apart from in the full school orchestra, so his playing in the concert with Martia was quite an achievement I did not expect to come to fruition. (Transposing the music to B flat for the clarinet was quite a task in itself!)

We returned home to find the electricity off and the contents of the freezer/fridge ruined but still we are in high spirits!

After showering (!), I was eager to visit my spiritualist church this evening and a lady stood up and said, "I can see you with what looks like a may pole with ribbons" (I was folding the ribbons today from the poles of the marquee!) She went on to tell me about a mole hill! Did you see it? Everyone was crowded around it today. She also talked about the children playing in water and the trees! She told me about the fairies and wood elves afterwards but said she didn't like to mention it at the time! I just thought I would share that with you! Thankyou once again and I hope you both find the time and space to recover from your hard work! I trust we will find the energy to join you again in the near future. Antonia, Kristian and Fabienne, North Yorks

The camp was wonderful: lots of laughter and a strong sense of community. Sandra Lupson, Elland

Everyone was so welcoming and relaxed and loving. As soon as I saw the lovely archway decorated with ribbons I was warmed and happy. Dear Selma and Chris and family you are such lovely people. It was indeed a priviledge to be welcomed to your camp. You are creating such love and positive energy. Your shared vision will be realised. I send you my loving thoughts and look forward to your next camp. Louise Martin, Clitheroe
